Personality: 
Rolau hates violence of any kind especially since he had been living with an abusive father. He has learned to fight back but only with words and isn't afraid to end the violence at most costs except if it is something more than a kick to a shin.. Despite having to learn on his own, he is quite intelligent and picks up everything really quickly. However, he is not very talkative and can't seem to allow himself to become close to someone. He is so afraid of getting hurt or beaten that he doesn't give away all of his important secrets. He stays to himself and will have an anxiety attack if he gets cornered. He is also very self conscious and does everything to hide his scars. For his ones on his face he keeps his hair long enough that they wouldn't be seen. Despite all of this he loves to draw, read, and ride.
 
History: His brother had been the favorite of his parents. Often they would tell Rolau how he should be more like Blake who had left to boarding school, and when he said that he was a guy not a girl he didn't get the reaction he expected. He had known his father was abusive, but not how much. It was answered by the whip markings put on his thighs. He knew that staying home was no option, but neither was loving his female body. So he had gotten surgery to make his chest more masculine. Already he was taking hormones. He was almost denied the surgery when they found the scars on his legs, but then his mom (who was his real support and was the one who helped get him the hormones and surgery) told the doctors where they came from. Little did they know the worst was to come. After the successful surgery, he went home and his father was pissed. Day after day Rolau dealt with beatings from his father. Every day it got worse until whip mark scarred his back and his remade chest. That was when his mom finally got her courage and ran with Rolau in hand. That day when they ran his father had done the worst he could. Rolau got three marks along his face causing him to go blind. However they were safe and Rolau participated in a new surgery. After it you would have thought he had been male from the start. His mom died a little after his 18th birthday and Rolau found he had no idea where to go when he remembered where Blake had gone. He began to work his way up to find the stables as a prostitute. By the time he found how to get a job and where the stables was at, he had gained enough money. From there on he started a new life where hopefully his brother will find out that he never had a sister, but a brother and accept it.
